The latest generation of fully wireless headphones from Apple pleased us with new features and capabilities but also disappointed with the average sound quality.

The basis is a precisely designed box with an integrated battery and support for wireless charging, in which the headphones themselves are located. The opening is newly oriented horizontally. High-quality plastic headphones are finished with a soft silicone “step”, which means the “In-Ear” type. In the package, you will find 3 sizes of sockets, thanks to which these headphones will fit almost everyone. In addition to this feature, the dimensions of the legs have been reduced, which no longer protrude so much from the ears, and instead of double-tap control, each handset has a touch-sensitive surface, so you can control several functions.
The most significant novelty is the ANC (Adaptive Noise Canceling), ie adaptive suppression of ambient noise. You can activate this function by holding down the “button” on the handset or via a connected iPhone via the control center. Just hold your finger on the sound icon and you’ll see three ANC setting options – noise reduction, ANC off, and transparent listening. The headphones have sensitive outward and bottom-facing microphones that pick up ambient noise and unwanted sounds inside the ear and then eliminate them with intense “anti-noise”. As a result, it works very well, but if you are in a very noisy environment, such as. aircraft, etc. so complete silence will not ensure.
In the tram, office, etc. it is well used. After switching to transparent listening, you will hear everything around, so you don’t have to pull them out of your ears even during a conversation, etc. In addition, these headphones have a vent system to balance the pressures in the ear and an adaptive equalizer that fully automatically adjusts the mids and heights. The AirPods Pro has an integrated mini amplifier and the Apple H1 chip with ten audio cores takes care of the sound processing.
All technologies work very well and reliably, we just don’t like the sound quality. It’s not bad, but at this price, we also know better in-ear headphones. But the fact is that if you are not an extra demanding listener, they will suit you. Communication with iPhone and other Apple devices is top-notch – it is taken care of by Bluetooth 5.0 and H1 chip. Mention should also be made of the possibility of sharing sound into two pairs of AirPods at the same time. Let’s add that the endurance per charge is around 3 to 4 hours.
Combined with recharging in a case, this kit will last you up to approximately 24 hours, so you will only charge continuously. Finally, you can find the last position of the AirPods Pro using the “find” function, and it’s also good to know that they are resistant to sweat and water (IPX4).
